Privacy Policy

Cat Merge for iOS. Last updated September 7, 2026.

This policy describes how the Cat Merge app (“the app”) handles information. The app is published by Sandy Games. It does not create accounts and does not require a login.

Information on your device

The app stores the following on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage:

This data stays on the device unless you choose to submit a score to the world leaderboard.

World leaderboard

If you save a score with a nickname, the app may send that nickname (1–16 characters) and score to servers we operate so it can appear on the public world leaderboard. We do not require an email, phone number, or Apple ID for this. Names are shown publicly. We keep a limited number of recent scores and delete older ones.

If the network is unavailable, your score is still saved locally. Submitting to the world board is optional and does not block play.

Advertising

Unless you buy Remove Ads (a one-time in-app purchase), the app may show a thin banner on the main menu and at the bottom of the play screen. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device and advertising data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob documentation. The app does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and is not intended to track you across other companies’ apps.

Buying Remove Ads stops those banners on your device. Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.

What we do not collect

We do not sell your information.

Children

Cat Merge is a cartoon puzzle. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond an optional nickname and score you choose to post. Do not enter a real name, email, or other personal details as a nickname.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
